A local company based in the Dearne Valley, Rotherham area is looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join their small but fast-growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work towards a long-term career within the sewing industry and secure a full-time, permanent position .
Benefits:

* Monday to Friday – no weekends!
* Pay increase after 12 weeks
Hours/Pay:
* Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am – 2:30pm
* £12.21 per hour (rising after 12 weeks)
Duties include:
* Use of a lockstitch sewing machine
* Cutting and measuring various types of fabrics
* Prepping customer orders for despatch
* Completing quality checks on all finished products
* Various other duties as requested
Skills required:
* Great work ethic and ambition to succeed
* Previous sewing machining experience required
* Ability to work to customer deadlines
* Excellent eye for detail
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, as the company prides itself on personal growth
