Working across international markets, you will lead technology‑enabled product initiatives that increase acquisition and enhance the customer experience for small businesses.

Responsibilities
 * Build, own and drive project plans and key documentation for governance processes.
 * Collaborate with product, market, design, engineering, and product development teams to deliver timely, efficient, and realistic outcomes. Partner with stakeholders across Market, Product, Engineering, Risk & Control, UXR, Finance, Fraud, Credit, Compliance, and Legal.
 * Take ownership of project execution, providing leadership and support to core team members.
 * Identify gaps in execution approaches, recommend alternatives, and align with key partners.
 * Resolve issues, manage risks, and raise matters to governance forums to remove obstacles.
 * Drive the implementation of new capabilities, ensuring they meet market needs, enhance customer experience, and comply with local regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements.
 * Lead integration and beta testing activities, and ensure all go‑to‑market materials and internal training are in place.
 * Maintain a detail‑oriented, comprehensive perspective to consider edge cases, implications, and potential risks throughout the application journey.

 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to address diverse audiences.
 * Proven ability to deliver results, influence partners, and work effectively across organizational levels.
 * Strong track record of governance and partner management in a matrix environment.

Preferred Qualifications
 * Experience delivering via SAFE Agile methodology and relevant Agile Product Owner certifications.
 * Experience managing American Express products and business operations.
 * Understanding of financial services platforms and APIs.
 * Familiarity with risk and control procedures.
