The Opportunity
We’re delighted to be supporting a prestigious independent optical practice in Beaconsfield, renowned for its luxury eyewear collections, exceptional service, and clinical excellence. This opportunity is for a Qualified Dispensing Optician Manager to join their team on a maternity cover basis for up to 12 months, after this there will be a conversation with the Director about possibility of creating a role for you within the company.
This role offers the chance to combine hands-on dispensing with leadership responsibility in a beautifully presented, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate the practice team to deliver outstanding patient care and retail performance.
* Dispense premium eyewear and lens solutions to meet each patient’s individual needs.
* Maintain and enhance the boutique reputation of the practice through exceptional customer service.
* Oversee day-to-day operations including diary management, performance monitoring, and stock control.
* Drive branch performance through effective leadership, staff development, and commercial awareness.
What We’re Looking For
* Fully qualified Dispensing Optician (GOC registered).
* Previous experience working with high-end or boutique practices is essential.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire a small, close-knit team.
* Commercially aware with a passion for achieving performance goals.
* Confident, professional, and committed to delivering a memorable patient experience.
The Package
* Salary: Up to 37,000 (depending on experience)
* Contract: Maternity cover – up to 12-months
* Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week including every Saturday
* Supportive and friendly working environment within a respected independent group
