TMG Mortgage Network is growing quickly, and we are looking for a Head of Operations to help us build the infrastructure, processes and service standards needed for the next phase of that growth.
This is a senior leadership role with real influence across the business. You will be responsible for making sure our operational engine runs effectively, supports advisers and AR firms well, and scales in the right way as the network continues to grow.
You will work closely with the Managing Director and wider senior team to improve efficiency, strengthen service delivery, drive accountability and make sure the operational side of the business is fit for the size and ambition of TMG.
Key responsibilities
* Lead the day to day operational delivery of the network, ensuring teams, systems and processes are running effectively.
* Create and improve scalable operational processes that support business growth without compromising quality.
* Oversee service standards across core support functions, making sure advisers and firms receive a consistently strong experience.
* Manage operational capacity, workflows and resource planning across the business.
* Use MI, reporting and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
* Work with department heads to improve cross functional collaboration and remove bottlenecks.
* Support the delivery of strategic projects, change initiatives and new propositions.
* Help embed a culture of ownership, pace, structure and continuous improvement.
* Ensure operational controls, governance and documentation remain strong as the business evolves.
* Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to wider business planning and decision making.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, highly organised and confident leading teams in a fast moving environment. You will need to be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational detail.
Ideal experience and qualities
* Senior operations leadership experience, ideally within financial services, mortgages, networks or a regulated environment.
* A strong track record of improving processes, service delivery and business efficiency.
* Experience leading teams and creating clear accountability.
* Strong understanding of MI, performance management and operational reporting.
* Able to manage multiple priorities and drive progress at pace.
* A practical, hands on approach with the credibility to lead from the front.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
* Someone who thrives in a growing business and enjoys building structure around ambition.
