Hairdressing Assessor

£25 per hour | Temporary | Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting an experienced Hairdressing Assessor to join a Further Education College in Castleford on a temporary basis until the end of June. This role is to start ASAP, with an official start date week commencing 4th May.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners on Level 2 Hairdressing qualifications, delivering both theory and practical assessment sessions.
Working Pattern
Mondays
* 09:30 - 12:45: Theory sessions and tutorials
* Afternoon: Planning and preparation time (negotiable)
Thursdays
* 09:00 - 18:30: Practical delivery and assessment
o AM: Level 2 NVQs
o PM: Level 2 VRQs
Requirements
* Minimum GCSE English and Maths
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Qualified and experienced to assess and internally quality assure (IQA) Hairdressing qualifications
* Experience assessing Level 2 NVQ and VRQ Hairdressing
* Ability to start immediately and commit until the end of June
