Job Summary
Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 per annum depending on role and experience plus Veolia benefits
Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
Locations: Durham, Sheffield, Hampshire, Lancashire, Liverpool

What you'll be doing
* Assist the Senior Site Chemist and the Site Manager in the day‑to‑day site operations, including supervision of operatives as required
* Sample and analyse all materials destined for on‑site treatment, performing compatibility testing and generating written instructions for site personnel
* Perform daily inspections of the transfer area, identify and remedy potential breaches of permit or safe working conditions, and report findings
* Cooperate with site management to ensure all personnel, contractors and visitors comply with site rules
* Perform sampling and verification of incoming waste chemicals and raise non‑conformance reports as required
What we're looking for
* Minimum of an HNC or degree qualification in Chemistry or a relevant science degree
* Ability to overcome problems and find solutions independently
* Enthusiastic and willing to learn
* Calculative, literate and computer literate skills
