Sales Administrator
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
My client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with strong communication and customer service skills to play a key role in supporting our national and international sales operations.
The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent email, word processing, and spreadsheet skills, and have a sound understanding of export procedures from order receipt to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately process customer orders via phone, email, fax, and online platforms
* Respond to incoming customer inquiries and provide high-quality support
* Liaise with production and warehouse teams to coordinate dispatch dates
* Monitor and verify dispatch and delivery schedules
* Perform order analysis and generate weekly sales reports
* Maintain and update the customer database and price book
* Manage customer contact information and interactions
* Handle invoicing and general filing tasks
* Coordinate transport and liaise with shipping companies
* Arrange export shipments, including documentation and logistics
* Support the sales and sales support teams with administrative tasks
* Contribute to overall customer service excellence
* Carry out general office duties as required
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar sales administration role
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Experience using Sage 50
* Knowledge of export procedures and logistics
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
