Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, delivering excellent service to our guests. All positions are paid, including internships, and provide valuable experience within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
* Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar
* Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the POS system
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
* Restock bar supplies as needed and ensure stock levels are maintained throughout shifts
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere
* Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to licensing laws
* Assist with setting up and clearing tables when required during busy periods
* Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
* Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
* Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
* Time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours
* A positive attitude, team spirit, and a genuine interest in delivering excellent customer experiences
