Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £38,000 – £48,000

They are seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing London team well known for delivering award-winning MEP, civil, structural, and sustainability-focused solutions. With a portfolio spanning heritage buildings, commercial developments, and cutting-edge projects such as film studios and net zero offices, this is a role for someone ready to make a meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead and support mechanical design on a variety of complex building services projects
* Work closely with senior engineers and directors to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery
* Attend and contribute to client meetings and multidisciplinary design team sessions
* Mentor junior engineers and support internal knowledge sharing
* Contribute to process improvements and the development of sustainable, energy-efficient solutions
What They're Looking For:
* Degree in Building Services Engineering or related discipline
* Minimum of 24 months’ experience in building services or consultancy design role
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and strong understanding of technical standards (e.g. CIBSE, UK Building Regs)
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
* Ambition to progress towards Chartership (CEng)
