This role is varied and rewarding, and may at times be challenging, however there is lots of support around you. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team supporting the team Manager and consultants, and will be responsible for scheduling of surgical theatre lists and booking of patients surgeries within National guidelines and target dates. The post holder will be expected to cross cover colleagues in times of annual leave and sickness.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated person to join our very busy General Surgery Inpatient waiting list department. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for a range of duties related to 18 week RTT Pathway and be responsible for scheduling patients theatre lists, You should be literate and numerate, with excellent organisational, time management and IT skills and an ability to work without supervision and to tight deadlines and under pressure., You will have a high standard of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels. You will have enthusiasm, motivation and demonstrate pride in your work.
