The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, a people-powered business of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top motoring services. We are seeking skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanics to join our team.
As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
* Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility for short-notice work
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if necessary
This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays. You will receive your roster seven days in advance, with core hours sent three days ahead, within the hours of 0600 and 0200.
