Overview
A Senior Operations Manager is sought to oversee and manage a team consisting primarily of project managers and project engineers delivering fire and security systems installation projects within the M&E and construction environment. These are high value, multi-million-pound installations. The successful applicant will be responsible for the M&E client base project team and the delivery of assigned work streams and projects across the UK, ensuring a high standard and professional service.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage a team consisting primarily of project managers and project engineers delivering fire and security systems installation projects within the M&E and construction environment.
* Deliver assigned work streams and projects across the UK, ensuring high standards of service.
* Review commercial high risk contract terms and cascade to the project delivery teams.
* Coordinate with purchasing and engineering teams and client to ensure projects are completed within the allocated time frame.
* Be accountable for the project managers’ forecasts against set budgets.
* Communicate commercial terms effectively to the project delivery teams.
Qualifications
* Experience from an M&E installation project environment; ideally with fire and security systems knowledge (not essential).
* Experienced senior manager with a desire to develop processes and procedures.
* High level of commercial contracts knowledge.
* Location: ideally Midlands, but could be based anywhere in England.
