Job Description
The role of Import Coordinator in West Bromwich will involve:
3. Managing shipments and quotes for transport modes - air, sea, and land.
4. Using the system and keeping information and quoting up to date.
5. Managing all relevant paperwork.
6. Liaising with suppliers and customers.
7. Planning to ensure adequate resources are available.
8. Cost savings.
9. Coordinating customs entry and declarations.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Import Coordinator candidate will have:
10. Excellent imports shipment experience.
11. Good customer service skills.
12. Attention to detail.
13. The ability to liaise with suppliers and other external stakeholders.
14. A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain, including freight.
15. Previous experience working in fast-paced environments.
16. Excellent IT (particularly Excel and Powerpoint).
