Job Description
Oracle ERP Test Manager
Ready to Lead Oracle ERP Testing at Scale? Join Version 1 as a Test Manager. You’ll take full ownership of the testing lifecycle—from strategy and planning to execution and reporting—across high-impact Oracle Cloud projects. You’ll lead hybrid teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure coordination across upstream and downstream systems.
Role overview: You will be accountable for end-to-end testing, shaping best practices, and supporting testing across Oracle ERP implementations and upgrades.
Key responsibilities include:
* End-to-end test management
* Test strategy, planning, scripting best practices
* Test design and execution with reporting and defect logging, coordinating between upstream and downstream systems
* Managing a hybrid team of test analysts and client end users/subject matter experts
* Working independently and remotely, with travel for client engagements as needed
Additional responsibilities
* Oversee training and development of colleagues
* Maintain current product knowledge
* Define performance indicators and targets
* Maintain high customer satisfaction (internal & external)
* Deliver project activities efficiently within a recognized project methodology
* Meet quarterly objectives during appraisals
Qualifications
* Experience in test management and defect management
* Oracle testing environments for implementations/upgrades; experience with ERP/HCM modules and at least one full upgrade or implementation testing lifecycle
* Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking; ability to translate customer requirements into workable solutions
* Organized, analytical, process-oriented, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
* Time management and effective remote work capabilities
