SEN Teacher - Temp to Perm (Full-Time) - Harrow - September Start
We are seeking a dedicated and passionateSEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Harrow on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting this September.
This is an independent Special Post-16 Institution. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment that recognises and celebrates equality and diversity at every level.
Providing personalised placements for young adults aged 18-24 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) identifying their special educational needs. With a focus is on supporting each learner to reach their full potential through tailored, student-centred approaches.
Every student is supported to Learn, Achieve, and Succeed. As part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering meaningful, engaging education that prepares our learners for adulthood and independence.
SEN Teacher Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet a range of complex needs
* Support students' academic, social, and emotional development
* Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families
* Contribute to EHCP reviews and individual learning plans
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
SEN Teacher Attributes:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), ideally post-16
* A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine commitment to inclusive education
