At NHS West Sussex Talking Therapies, we are seeking a BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will help us build on our success by working with adults experiencing anxiety disorders and depression within a primary care setting. Main duties of the job
* Provide Step 3 CBT interventions face-to-face, digitally, and in group settings for patients with moderate to severe mental illness
* Accept referrals via established protocols within the service
* Assess clients for treatment suitability within West Sussex Talking Therapies and specifically for Step 3 Psychological Therapy
* Decide on the suitability of new referrals, adhering to referral protocols, and refer clients to appropriate services or back to referral agents as needed, considering risk management
* Conduct risk assessments and take appropriate actions, including patient confidentiality breaches when necessary by legislation
* Formulate, implement, and evaluate therapy programs for clients
