Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional and specialty fertilizers, soil conditioning products, animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. As part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D is based at the Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. We seek a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for the Northern Ireland region. The role involves developing long-term customer relationships, connecting with industry stakeholders, and reporting to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager. Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing strategic and operational plans to maximize sales and customer service.
2. Enhancing technical product presentations to meet regional needs.
3. Optimizing distribution, operations, and costs.
4. Managing relationships and accounts, including product support and credit control.
5. Overseeing sales administration policies.
6. Supporting and managing the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating the team to optimize sales and service.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Participating actively in company development and operational teams.
Requirements include a third-level qualification in Agriculture or Business, proven sales management experience, technical knowledge of the agri-sector, strong commercial skills, leadership abilities, excellent communication, and a clean driver’s license. The role offers a competitive salary (£45,000-£55,000), performance bonus, company car with fuel card, mobile, and laptop.
