Position Details
This is a permanent, full-time position with a shift pattern from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Role Overview
Are you interested in developing mental health clinical pharmacy care for individuals with mental health issues? We are seeking a pharmacist committed to Mental Health practice to join our mental health pharmacy team, supporting patient care within Mental Health services in Renfrewshire. The role involves providing care to patients on acute adult inpatient wards and to a community mental health team in Paisley, including a busy prescribing workload. The successful candidate will be professionally linked and supported by the mental health pharmacy team at Leverndale Hospital.
Candidate Requirements
* Ideally, at least two years of clinical experience, preferably in hospital practice and mental health pharmacy. Candidates with a keen interest in mental health and relevant pharmacy experience are encouraged to apply.
* Registered with the GPhC and working towards or having completed Foundation training.
* Either working towards or holding Independent Prescriber status.
* Willingness to travel between sites.
Additional Information
The successful applicant will participate in the mental health pharmacy dispensary and on-call rotas.
