Occupational Therapist We are recruiting on behalf of local government for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their Reablement Team, helping individuals regain independence following hospitalisation. This hybrid role requires approximately 50% face-to-face work. Key Responsibilities: Conduct strengths-based assessments and develop tailored reablement plans. Support clients to achieve maximum independence and minimise long-term care needs. Provide professional guidance, advice, and training to colleagues. Act as an expert advisor on equipment and decision-making. Manage a diverse and complex caseload with autonomy and professional judgment. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care. Support the implementation of adaptations and demonstrate specialist equipment. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Occupational Therapist with professional registration. Minimum of two years post-qualification experience in a similar role. Valid full UK driver's license for travel to clients' homes and other care settings. Proven experience conducting complex client assessments and designing care plans. Strong knowledge of professional guidelines, legislation, and best practices in occupational therapy. Experience providing training and support to colleagues.
