Vision for Education is working in partnership with a wide network of primary schools throughout Cardiff, offering exciting supply teaching opportunities for newly qualified Teachers (NQTs) approaching the end of their training.
If you’re about to complete your teaching studies and want to gain valuable classroom experience while enjoying flexibility, this is a fantastic way to build confidence, explore different school environments, and kick-start your teaching career.

The Role
8. Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups
9. Gain experience in different classroom settings and school environments
10. Develop your classroom and behaviour management skills
11. Maintain positive learning environments and support pupil progress
12. Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences
13. Follow safeguarding and school behaviour policies at all times
What We’re Looking For
14. Final-year trainee teacher working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
15. Individuals that can speak Welsh – desirable not essential
16. Recent placement experience within primary schools
17. A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
18. A willingness to learn and grow in a variety of school settings
19. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply, we can help with this)
