TeacherActive is proud to be working with a children’s residential provider in Grantham to look for a Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare support to work within the Grantham area within an EBD home.
They are experiencing significant growth, and as a result, are opening their recruitment process to Residential Childcare Support Workers that could become a permanent position.
The opportunities are for Residential Childcare Support Worker supporting young people aged 6–18 within the Children’s Residential Homes. All of the young people they work with have experienced trauma and present with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The shift pattern is on a rolling 2-week rota basis - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, followed by week 2 Wednesday and Thursday. Shifts are 08:00 - 21:00
The successful Residential Childcare Support Worker will have:
Experience supporting young people with complex needs
Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce
Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma
Be open-minded, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a genuine desire to help prepare children and young people for life beyond care
Flexibility with shifts
