Why This Opportunity? 4-day working week – enjoy your Fridays off with a genuine work-life balance Team & autonomy – work within a close-knit, supportive team of 13 Development opportunities – career pathways into more technical roles, with training and upskilling encouraged Culture - work in a collaborative and CI Driven culture Responsibilities: Inspecting and approving components and materials from suppliers – including 1st-off samples Performing dimensional checks using tools like micrometers, verniers, calipers, depth gauges, surface measuring tools, and CMM equipment Identifying quality issues and leading the process through to resolution – ownership matters Evaluating warranty returns and working cross-functionally with engineers to reach technical conclusions Recording issues, data and actions using systems like SAP, Q-Pulse, and Excel Supporting new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives across the quality function Experience required: A strong personality with the confidence to challenge, ask questions, and investigate root causes Previous inspection experience in automotive, oil & gas, construction equipment, marine, precision or assembly (or similar) industries Solid knowledge of engineering drawings and technical specifications Experience using CMM machines, measurement tools, and digital platforms such as Power BI, SAP, or Q-Pulse Someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes initiative, and can juggle multiple tasks at once This isn’t just another inspection role.
