We're looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Christchurch. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities
* Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need additional support
* Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), learning difficulties, or behavioural challenges
* Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
* Monitor and report on student progress and well-being
* Help create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment
Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience working with children in an educational or support setting
* A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of SEN strategies (desirable but not essential)
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate, or equivalent)
