Role: Events & Membership Manager The Other House is seeking an Events & Membership coordinator to join our expanding team. You will support the Events and Membership Manager overseeing The Other House Private Members Club and Event spaces at The Other House South Kensington and all future Other Houses. As part of the role, you will ensure that thorough preparation and coordination are undertaken in the lead-up to any events, whether members events or private events, through to its completion. As such, your daily tasks include diary management, gathering promotional materials, booking AV support if required, reviewing menus, managing invoices, communicating to the team onsite via the weekly function sheet meetings, and evaluating member and event feedback. A successful Events and Membership Coordinator is well-organized, detail-oriented, passionate about events, and creating community through shared experiences. You will also be a strong communicator, knowledgeable about leading trends/music/talent and possess a sound knowledge of vendor management. You:
* A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in coordinating a successful membership or events department is required
* Experience working for independent hospitality-focused properties / small groups/aparthotel
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows software, with extensive experience in the use of Excel
* Passionate and self-driven
* A team player with a 'Jack of all Trades' attitude
* An ambassador for The Other House brand
* Excellent command of English - both verbal and written
* The right to work in the UK
Systems/Technology: Experience in using the following systems would be a distinct advantage.
* Mews (PMS)
* Pxier
* CRM (Revinate)
* Monday.com/Salesforce
