To spearhead this exciting new chapter, they are creating a pivotal Sales Director role. This position is central to the company's long-term vision, which includes a strategic trade or investor sale within a 3-5 year horizon. As such, the successful candidate will not only shape the commercial future of the business but will also be directly rewarded for its success through a structured share option scheme, offering a substantial long-term incentive. A Strategic Leadership Opportunity Reporting directly to the board, the Sales Director will hold full responsibility for architecting and executing the company-wide sales strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for a commercially astute professional who can both define the strategic direction and lead from the front to ensure its delivery. The core mandate is to drive revenue growth with a sharp focus on profitability and EBITDA, directly influencing the company's valuation. You will be tasked with building robust sales structures, implementing key performance metrics, and igniting the performance of the sales team to achieve exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic sales plan that aligns with ambitious company goals and objectives for revenue and profit growth. Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire the entire sales function, including the management of Account Managers and the outbound contact centre team. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to foster a high-performance culture. Process & System Optimisation: Design, build, and implement scalable sales processes, management structures, and KPI frameworks. Ensure the customer journey and supporting systems are seamless and effective. Performance Analytics: Closely monitor sales metrics, team performance, and individual pipelines. Analyse data to identify trends, forecast accurately, and pinpoint areas for improvement, managing budgets and performance against targets. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other departments to ensure the sales strategy is integrated and effectively executed across the organisation. Market & Client Engagement: Maintain deep market knowledge to anticipate trends and competitor activity. Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners. The Candidate Profile - Experience & Expertise: A proven track record as a Sales Director or in a similar senior commercial leadership role, with experience in a B2B services environment. Demonstrable success in rolling out and delivering sales strategies that have directly driven significant revenue growth and profitability. Solid background in managing, mentoring, and motivating a sales team to exceed targets. Experience in building sales processes, structures, and performance metrics from the ground up. Strong Commercial Acumen: An accomplished leader with a strategic mindset and a focus on EBITDA and commercial outcomes. Inspirational Leader: Possesses the ability to motivate, challenge, and develop a team, leading by example and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
