My client, a successful and reputable contractor based in Nottingham, requires an experienced Bid Writer to join their business as lead author to produce high quality, articulate and detailed tenders, due to a high increase in workload and client enquiries.
As Bid Writer, duties will include:
Drafting and producing value propositions matching their client's requirements
Conducting market research, securing pertinent information from experts in various fields and undertaking competitor analysis
Ensuring consistent quality throughout each tender submission
Interrogating design and construction requirements
Liaising with operational teams, business unit managers and supporting development of marketing plans
Identifying new customers, tender opportunities and preparing tender winning submissionsThe successful candidate will have:
Proven skills in producing and editing proposal content
Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate professionally with colleagues at all levels
Good quality research skills and effective questioning techniques
Exceptional proof reading and editing skills
