Customer Service Administrator
Location: Gloucester (Office Based) Hours: Full Time | Permanent Salary: £26,500 per annum
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy customer service team within a fast‑paced office environment. This role involves handling a high volume of inbound calls, processing orders, resolving customer queries, and ensuring a consistently high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls.
* Process orders via phone and email.
* Resolve customer enquiries and issues promptly.
* Complete and maintain accurate customer records.
* Manage back orders, shortages, and transport queries.
* Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues.
* Maintain high productivity and service standards.
* Support additional administrative tasks as required.
Key Skills
* Minimum 1 year’s experience in a call centre or customer service role.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Calm and professional telephone manner.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
* Confident using computer systems and databases.
* Quick to learn new software and processes.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Customer‑focused with relationship‑building skills.
* Proactive and able to work independently or within a team.
