Financial Accounting Analyst (junior)

We are looking for a Junior Financial Accounting analyst to join our Finance team in our London office (Hammersmith)!
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in Finance to enter a fast-paced and dynamic department with a real opportunity to drive decision-making in the business. You will be part of the Financial Accounting team where you will have the opportunity to support in areas such as Statutory Accounting, Forestalling, Balance Sheet Forecast, Customer Creation and Credit Risk Management. There will also be opportunities to lead on Business to Consumer (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B) processes and ad hoc projects.
Your 'day to day'
Business to Consumer (B2C)
• You will be supporting new product launches by assessing requirements, opportunities, and limitations from Finance perspective.
• You'll be setting up correct pricing, submitting order controls and assisting with new/existing promotions and monitoring order activity and investigating issues, such as fraudulent orders, status, billing, and payment problems.
• You'll be involved in promptly investigating and resolving Finance related consumer complaints from Customer Care and also closely collaborating with the global Payments and Fraud team to provide an excellent experience for consumers whilst balancing a sufficient level of controls and keep looking for ways to improve.
• You'll be performing monthly promotions controls using Power BI and liaising with different parties to coordinate LSP recharge and write-offs.
Business to Business (B2B)
• You'll respond and manage customer and credit limit queries and issues and lead the customer creation process e.g. due diligence and ensure SAP setup.
• You'll support in managing and maintaining customer pricing and discounts and liaise with supply chain to understand issues and check validity of stock numbers across all product categories.
• You'll also lead on financial analysis both regular and ad hoc for relevant customers and familiarise yourself with the insurance policies locally and globally and responsible for annual renewal questionnaire and inputs
• You'll coordinate the data required and prepare submissions for statistics and censor information for Government reporting and support with ad-hoc projects.
Accounting
• You'll provide support with Statutory Accounts preparation and Annual Statutory Audit
In order to be successful in your application, you will be required to have the right to work in the UK.
About you
• We are ideally looking for someone with a Finance / Business education or equivalent working experience and be working towards a relevant qualification (at least part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Preferably, you have knowledge of UK/US GAAP and accounts preparation and strong attention to detail.
• You are someone who enjoys working as part of a team but also can work independently and can build strong relationships and work collaboratively across functions.
• We are looking for a strong communicator, results driven individual who can effectively prioritize.
• You are someone is confident in using Microsoft programs and SAP.
