My-iClinic is an independent surgeon-owned, surgeon-run contemporary Ophthalmic Hospital in North London that has a holistic ethos and meticulous attention to the best proven surgical interventions, so patients can be sure that they are receiving the best current treatment in a caring setting.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our growing team as a full-time Clinic Manager. The position is offered on a permanent basis of 40hrs/week, with varying shifts across our opening hours of Monday - Friday. The role will require some flexibility outside of normal office hours, including occasional evenings and Saturdays to be agreed in advance where required by the clinic. This time can be taken back as TOIL agreed in advance.
This is an essential role where you will work in a team of highly motivated and dedicated professionals. You’ll be a creative thinker who can use your knowledge, judgement and initiative to support the Directors in delivering an effective top class service to all our patients and to ensure the business runs efficiently and effectively. You will provide leadership and management skills to enable the organisation to meet its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment.
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
* Overseeing daily operations of the clinic
* Recruiting, training and supervising clinic staff
* Strategic management and planning, including through the implementation of projects and policies to develop the clinic
* Monitor, evaluate and improve the performance of the clinic
* Managing patient records and IT systems and addressing customer complaints or concerns
* Growing and developing the business with the assistance of marketing colleagues
* Coordinating efforts to remain compliant with the CQC, including through introducing and managing pathways, audits, policies and collaborating with colleagues and clinical leads
* Consistently identifying areas for improvement to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of patient care
We require a minimum of 1 year's healthcare management experience, or similar responsibilities. Previous ophthalmic experience is desirable but not essential.
A successful candidate should be passionate about providing high-quality care to patients, be self-motivated and be able to instil a positive culture amongst colleagues. We are looking for someone who is able to develop and implement a clear vision, and communicate effectively at all levels.
Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 depending on experience.
