Qualification: RGN only (active nursing pin)
Salary: circa £63,000 per annum
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Hours: (Supernumerary, Monday–Friday with occasional weekend cover)
About the Role
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a valued client to recruit a Clinical Deputy Manager for a well-performing elderly nursing home near Milton Keynes area.
The home provides nursing, dementia and residential care and is seeking a clinically strong, hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to elderly residents. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead looking to join a stable, supportive service with a strong clinical focus.
You will work closely with the Home Manager, leading clinical practice, supporting staff development, and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong clinical leadership across the home
* Support and mentor nursing and care teams
* Ensure excellent standards of elderly and dementia care
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Support clinical governance, audits and compliance
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN (RGN)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead
* Previous nursing home experience essential
* Strong background in elderly and dementia nursing
* Excellent leadership, communication and clinical skills
* Genuine passion for elderly care
Interview Process
* Stage 1: Interview with the Home Manager
* Stage 2: Formal interview with the Home Manager and Operations Manager
Location & Commutability
The home is based near Milton Keynes and is commutable from Buckingham, Bletchley, Leighton Buzzard, Newport Pagnell, Bedford, Luton, Aylesbury, Northampton, Dunstable.
