Job Description
This position plays a pivotal role within the Global Training and Development department, ensuring the successful delivery of training initiatives on a global scale. As part of the Global Training Delivery and Quality team, the role involves collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders worldwide. The role holder will support the implementation of the Global Training Strategy, integrating it into innovative and effective training delivery methods to meet organisational goals.
The role also involves leading the scoping, design, and development of training courses, working with the Solution Consultancy team. This includes facilitating training sessions for diverse audiences.
Proficiency in instructor-led training delivery and familiarity with pedagogy and evidence-based teaching practices are essential. The role encompasses managing the entire training lifecycle, from designing learning solutions to delivering impactful sessions and evaluating customer satisfaction, requiring autonomy and expertise in creating effective learning experiences.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Targeted Training Programmes: Conduct engaging training sessions aligned with the Global Training Plan, tailored to the audience, ensuring effective execution.
* Develop High-Quality Training Materials: Create and improve training content, including presentations, videos, and handouts, aligned with organisational objectives.
* Develop Training Pathways: Support individual development and career progression using multiple platforms, including in-person, online, and virtual training.
* Design and Implement Training Programmes: Develop agendas, methods, and frameworks; research and prepare content; participate in project meetings.
* Conduct Scoping Exercises: Identify training needs across the organisation.
* Engage with Global Teams: Tailor content to regional or divisional needs.
* Collaborate on Material Development: Support creation of training materials, working with external vendors as needed.
* Facilitate Train-the-Trainer Programmes: Conduct T3 sessions for new trainers and external providers.
* Evaluate and Improve Programmes: Collect feedback, enhance materials, and communicate with stakeholders.
* Ensure Timely Delivery: Manage multiple requirements, delivering training on time and within budget.
* Drive Process Improvements: Enhance training quality and delivery processes.
* Provide Expertise: Offer guidance on instructor-led training to stakeholders.
* Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative methods.
* Promote Continuous Learning: Foster an environment of ongoing development.
* Facilitate Workshops and Away Days: Support team and individual development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
* Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant discipline
* Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Education and Training or Level 5 CIPD
Skills:
* Respond effectively to global staff across time zones
* Present information clearly to diverse groups
* Proficient in MS Office applications
* Handle stressful situations and adapt to changing priorities
Experience:
Significant experience in delivering professional development courses, with management or supervision experience preferred.
Work Balance:
30% Training design and delivery, 70% Training delivery. The role requires travel up to 70% nationally and internationally.
