Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice, maintaining high standards of client care, and supporting our team of Dental professionals. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong leadership skills to contribute to a well-respected practice.
Duties
* Supervise and lead the practice team, including Dentists, Dental nurses, reception/administrative staff.
* Oversee human resources functions such as recruitment, staff training, performance reviews, and staff welfare.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and practice policies as well as CQC/GDC and NHS operating standards
* Coordinate appointment scheduling, client communication, and patient records management to optimise efficiency.
* Support all Dental staff in implementing best practices for Patient care and ensure best provision of service.
* Assist in marketing initiatives and community engagement activities to grow the practice's presence locally.
* Managing complaints and ensuring the practice provides the highest care standards
* Work as part of a larger team within Imperial to support other practices if required.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a dental healthcare setting.
* Must hold current GDC registration as a nurse
* Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
* Knowledge of human resources processes such as recruitment, training, and staff development.
* Recent Dental experience is necessary to understand clinical workflows and Patient care standards.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking a challenging yet rewarding position within a busy dental environment.
