Job Description:
Techxi is looking for caring and responsible individuals to join our team as Private Hire Drivers. This rewarding role involves transporting individuals with additional needs and vulnerabilities safely to and from school, college, day centres and other places of learning. Key Responsibilities:
* Safely transport those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and other vulnerable individuals.
* Maintain a friendly, professional attitude with passengers, staff and all other stakeholders.
* Keep yourself and the vehicle clean, hygienic, roadworthy and respectful.
* Be available for morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, during term time.
What You'll Need:
* Valid UK Driving License: Held for at least 1 year.
* Enhanced DBS Check and Group 2 Medical Assessment: The DBS certificate and Medical Appointment will be paid for by Techxi. It is the Candidates responsibility to keep DBS on the update service at the cost of £16 per year.
* Willingness to Attend Training: A Private Hire License training course in Wolverhampton (1 Day Event). Techxi can offer transport to and from the course at subsidised rate if enough requests are made. The next course is due to be held in November or December 2025 with an aim of starting in September 2026.
* Legally entitled to work in the UK.
* Ability to park the company vehicle near your home.
* Be between the age of 23 and 75 (Insurance purposes)

Contract Details:
* Job Type: Part-time, Permanent.
* Pay: The base rate of pay is £12.21 per hour. In addition, a 'Rolled Up Holiday Pay' element will be added to your hourly earnings making it £13.68 (For a full year entitlement). This amount will appear as a separate line item on your pay slip, ensuring full transparency. While the £12.21 forms the base rate, the total hourly rate including holiday pay (12.07%) will be included.
* Hours: 15–25 per week, based on specific school routes (School routes to be outline pre-onboarding).
