The Halcyon Centre is a day service for adults and older people, many of whom are living with Dementia. We take an outcome focused, strength-based approach to care, supporting people to achieve their full potential in a friendly, professional and safe environment.
We aim to empower those accessing the service to reach their full potential, to reduce or delay the need for additional care services and to support them to remain living in their own homes for as long as possible.
As a Care Assistant you will support people with personal care, emotional wellbeing, food and nutrition and will plan and present meaningful, person-centred activities built around what people who attend the service find engaging, stimulating and beneficial to their mental and/or physical health and wellbeing.
We are looking for candidates with experience of working within an Adult Social Care setting, and who hold a Level 2 Diploma / NVQ in Adult Health and Social Care.
Please ensure you refer to the essential and desirable criteria detailed in the Person Specification when completing your application as they are used to select candidates for interview.
