<div><h3>Job Overview</h3><p>Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join their Commercial Conveyancing department, based in Bexleyheath, Kent. This role sits within a busy and collaborative team, supporting fee earners with a range of administrative and client‑facing duties to ensure the smooth progression of transactions.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Answer incoming calls and liaise with clients, agents, and third parties</li><li>Provide conveyancing quotes to prospective clients</li><li>Open new files and maintain accurate records</li><li>Prepare and complete legal forms, including AP1 applications</li><li>Undertake typing duties, including dictation work</li><li>Assist fee earners with general case management tasks</li><li>Carry out general administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, and post handling</li><li>Provide ad hoc support to team members as required</li><li>Ensure files and documentation are maintained to a high standard</li></ul><h3>Requirements / Skills / Experience</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in a Legal Assistant or similar role within conveyancing</li><li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Confident communication skills, both telephone and written</li><li>Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively</li><li>Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office</li></ul><p>Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment.</p></div>
