About the Role
We are looking for a talented and adaptable Design & Creative Consultant to join our growing business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is creative, technically capable, commercially aware, willing to learn and eager to make a real impact within a small, dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, passionate about design, and comfortable managing projects from concept through to completion. They will be willing to expand their role as required by learning new skills and able to front face customers both in person and on the telephone.
Key Responsibilities
Create 3D designs using SketchUp
Interpret and work from architectural drawings
Translate 2D layouts into detailed 3D visual concepts
Develop tiling plans and technical documentation
Select and coordinate colours, textures, tones, and materials to meet client requirements
Work across both residential and commercial design projects
Meet and consult with clients to understand their needs and vision
Source materials and liaise with suppliers
Negotiate pricing and manage supplier relationships
Balance creative design with commercial awareness
Manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision
Skills & Experience Required
Proficiency in SketchUp 3D CAD Design, knowledge of Enscape a bonus.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite and advantage.
Confident customer-facing communication skills
Strong organisational and workload management ability
Sales ability with a bright, sociable, and engaging personality
Negotiation skills and supplier management experience
Ability to produce technical drawings and tiling plans
Adaptable and flexible approach to tasks
Calm and solution-focused under pressure
Willingness to learn and grow
Full UK Driving License and own vehicle
