Responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within a facilities environment, ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. Carries out scheduled inspections, testing, and servicing of electrical installations and equipment, identifying potential issues before failure and maintaining system reliability.
Responds to reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner, undertaking fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems to minimise downtime and disruption. Works across a range of equipment including lighting, power distribution, control panels, and building services, ensuring faults are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.
Maintains accurate records of all PPM and reactive activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures. Actively contributes to continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults, implementing corrective actions, and supporting the overall performance and reliability of site systems.
Requirements:
1. Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Engineering
2. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
3. Proven experience in facilities or building services engineering
4. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Good understanding of health and safety and compliance standards
7. Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
