The Faculty of Engineering & Design are looking for a pro-active and motivated individual to join the Courses and Assessment Support Team as a Programmes Administrator on a secondment basis. About the role You will play a key role in the team, working collaboratively with both professional services and academic colleagues, to ensure the smooth and efficient administration and operation of the taught degree courses within the Faculty of Engineering and Design. Working alongside another Programmes Administrator, you will primarily support the undergraduate course's business for the Department of Mechanical Engineering. We are a small team and as such, all members of the team are required to work flexibly and collaboratively in support of each other. Your core responsibilities will focus on all assessment related processes for the academic and taught student lifecycle. You will also provide day-to-day administrative support for teaching, assessment and student data management activities. This will include maintaining student records on the University’s student records database, supporting the Directors of Studies, responding to enquiries from students and academic colleagues, as well as communicating with external examiners. At times the Programme Administrator may be required to work across our departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the faculty’s core assessment and progression business.
