2nd Line Service Desk Engineer Lincolnshire
Contract Personnel are seeking an experienced 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer for our well-established client based in Lincolnshire.
How does the day-to-day look?
* Client support: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing and resolving support tickets and queries promptly.
* Client relation: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
* Support activities: Assist with client meetings onsite and remote, project coordination and implementation, complaint handling, and supporting relationships.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records for client interactions, support tickets, and resolutions. Provide regular reports on support activities.
* Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in client support.
* Pod development: Present ideas to develop pod operations to enhance client experience.
* Scheduling: Check the scheduling queue daily and action it; ensure installation manuals and technical specifications are added to installation tickets.
You will have:
* A full UK driving license and own vehicle.
* Up-to-date Microsoft certifications.
* Experience in Windows Desktop support, Server support, and maintenance.
* Active Directory administration.
* Group Policy administration.
* Microsoft 365 and Azure support and maintenance.
* Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
* VMware vSphere and Horizon.
* Network support experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networked devices.
* Support for end-user applications.
* PowerShell scripting skills.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Hybrid work options available.
Salary: GBP 25,000 - GBP 35,000 DOE.
