At St Anne's Church Academy we are a busy, friendly primary school with a strong focus on student wellbeing. We are looking for a friendly, empathetic and caring Lunchtime Supervisor who will engage children during playtime, promote healthy eating, reinforce positive behaviour, and build relationships.
Responsibilities
* Support children in their physical play by providing encouragement, support, advice and guidance.
* Help develop positive behaviours, working collaboratively with the existing lunchtime team and support staff.
* Listen to the children and encourage their play while maintaining necessary discipline in the playground.
* Promote student well-being by encouraging good relationships, self‑reliance, self‑esteem, and personal health and hygiene.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
* Ability to work flexibly within a team and motivate students.
* Good interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
* Understanding of the developmental needs of children.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* First Aid qualification desirable but not essential.
* Experience of working with children desirable but not essential.
