Teaching Assistant for EYFS (to start September 2025)
Based in Nursery.
32.5 hours per week term time only.
8.30am-3.30pm (with a 30-minute unpaid break each day)
Grade 3/4, points 5-10 (£28,521 - £30,630 FTE), (£21,579-£23,175 actual salary)

We are seeking to recruit a positive, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, with a commitment to our ethos, vision, and values.
The successful candidate will be flexible, hardworking, show initiative, have a good sense of humour, work well as part of a team, and be willing to undertake training. Experience of working with young children is necessary.

You should:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or above in Childcare, Learning and Development, Teaching & Learning Support or an equivalent with a focus on Early Years, which is recognised as a full and relevant qualification.
* Have at least 5 GCSEs (grades 4-9/A* to C), or equivalent, including English and Mathematics (and be able to provide the original certificates for these as evidence). (Equivalent qualifications include Level 2 Functional Skills; O-level grade C or above or CSE grade 1.)
About Hackbridge Primary School:
Located close to Hackbridge Station, our school has been at the heart of our community for over 100 years.
We have been expanding to 4 forms of entry on a split site since 2019. We are federated with Spencer Nursery School, providing education from birth to 4 years, offering education from 0-11 years across our federation.
The primary school is based across two sites; Hackbridge Corner and London Road, within walking distance, with staff working collaboratively across all sites.
