Saxon Primary is a two-form entry primary school in Shepperton, Middlesex with a diverse catchment and a wonderful team spirit. The right candidate will be joining a strong, professional team of enthusiastic staff who will work alongside you in a supportive and constructive way.

We are looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistant positions, including full-time and part time (mornings only) roles on a fixed term basis to 31st August 2026. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating lifelong learners, committed to inclusion and equality and has a high expectation of themselves and every child. Main duties and responsibilities of the job are included in the job description attached to this advertisement along with a person specification giving details of the skills, qualifications and experience required for the roles.

Working Hours:

1. Full time Teaching assistant – 30 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year), to be worked 8:30am to 3:15pm Monday to Friday.
2. Part time (mornings only) Teaching assistant - 22.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year), to be worked 8:30am to 1:15pm Monday to Friday.
3. These roles are a fixed term position for 1 year to 31st August 2026.

Salary: PS3 FTE £23,576 (Pro rata £12,676 for the part time role and £16,902 for the full-time role)
