Class 2 Driver
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Stalybridge. The role involves multi-drop pallet deliveries across the Manchester area, completing approximately 8-12 drops plus collections. You will also be required to complete double runs, with shifts lasting around 1012 hours. This is a Monday to Friday position, meaning no weekend work is required.
Due to the nature of the job, previous multi-drop experience is essential, along with confidence in opening and closing curtains and securing loads using ratchet straps. This role would particularly suit drivers with a background in home delivery, as the work is far less physical and more straightforward. Our client is undergoing significant investment and positive change, and they are looking to build a strong team of reliable, high-quality drivers. With four-week block bookings, this is an ideal opportunity for any Class 2 Driver seeking stability and consistency.
This is not seasonal employment; our client is busy all year round, offering ongoing work even during the quieter January, February, and March months. Pay & Requirements
* Pay: £15.90 per hour (including holiday pay)
* Minimum six months Class 2 experience
* No more than six points (no DD, DG, CD, or IN endorsements)
* Valid CPC and Tacho cards
* Day shifts (approx. 07:00 start times)
* 1012-hour shifts
* Multi-drop pallet deliveries
