Job Title: Data Management & Tech Stack Developer Location: Hybrid – Onsite 1x/week in Belfast, ME or Unity, ME Assignment Duration: 6 Months Employment Type: Contract Position Overview We are seeking a versatile Data Management & Tech Stack Developer to design and build an end-to-end technology stack that supports data distribution from source systems to user-facing applications. This role will transform existing, lightweight spreadsheet-based inventory and sales fulfillment processes into a scalable, reliable, and user-friendly data platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust data pipelines, designing databases, creating intuitive user interfaces for analysis and reporting, and ensuring data integrity, performance, and accessibility. This role also includes training internal teams and external customers on system usage and best practices. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, user-friendly enterprise applications, including back-end services, front-end interfaces, business logic, and reporting solutions Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into secure data warehouses or data lakes Design, implement, and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas to ensure efficient, secure data storage and retrieval Develop and maintain APIs and server-side logic to enable seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end systems Implement automated testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, data accuracy, and adherence to best practices Monitor application performance and health, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across the full technology stack Train internal team members on system usage, maintenance, troubleshooting, and data flow from backend to frontend Identify potential system stress points and implement strategies to manage real-time errors in time-sensitive, customer-facing environments Train wholesale customers on the use of sales and reporting interfaces Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in relevant programming languages and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks Strong experience with database technologies, including: Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) NoSQL databases (MongoDB) Airtable and related plug-ins Advanced Excel proficiency Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL tools Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies Experience working in Agile environments and across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Understanding of networking fundamentals and application security best practices (e.g., OWASP) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field For more details reach at resumes@navitassols.com.
