Job Overview
Lab Product Owner – Lloyds Wealth (Edinburgh or Leeds) – £106,560 to £125,300 per annum plus benefits. Full‑time, hybrid working (at least two days a week at an office).
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead the creation and growth of a new Lab that will expand to over 50 FTE, working with the Lab Engineering Lead.
* Develop and manage the experience strategy for the new Lloyds Wealth experience in collaboration with Lloyds Wealth Business and teams across IP&I and Brands, Marketing & Experience.
* Provide direction and vision to product owners, ensuring teams prioritise valuable initiatives and align with the Lloyds Wealth strategy.
* Ensure all Product Owners, Customer Journey Managers, Engineering Leads and Senior Integrators understand priorities and can add customer value individually and as a team.
* Drive culture of safety and speed for all product teams.
* Accountable for Journey Management, optimising to reduce client and adviser pain‑points, costs and increasing value delivery.
* Work with the Lab Engineering Lead to guarantee the Lab has sufficient skills, knowledge and capacity to deliver.
* Accountable for performance against Platform and CIO Lab level key results including cost of ownership, backlog delivery, simplification and customer satisfaction.
* Handle risks associated with the products, working with Lab teams and the Lab Engineering Lead to align vision and roadmap with strategy and platform policies.
What You’ll Need
* Minimum five years of wealth management and advice experience, acquired through operational and change roles to ensure features meet client needs and regulatory demands.
* Five-plus years of Product Owner experience, including backlog ownership, priority setting, and demonstrable realisation of benefits across commercial and technology change.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary delivery teams across multiple locations (UK and India) and managing resources and budgets to deliver outstanding product features.
* Proficiency in RAID management, with examples of delivery risk management and escalation.
* Understanding of technology relevant to advice tools, CRM and digital technology to support the team through blockers.
* Strong collaborative skills, able to engage with stakeholders up to director level and lead a cross‑functional product team.
