We are looking for Band 7 Lead Mammographer to join our radiographic workforce at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals Trust.
The Lead Mammographer will work closely with our team to provide management and leadership of the breast imaging team.
Providing the best possible experience to our patients and meeting performance standards and targets.

Main duties of the job
You will work alongside clinical and non-clinical colleagues to provide the best possible experience to our patients whilst at the same time meeting performance standards and targets.
The post holder will work closely with the breast clinicians in Radiology and breast clinic to maintain a clear pathway for patients.
To provide support to The Radiography department in St Albans, where the role will be based.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will respect patient’s privacy, dignity, wishes and beliefs and minimise any necessary discomfort.
Though not required at the commencement of employment, the post holder will be expected to develop knowledge of a range of departmental and Trust procedures and policies, ensuring that they adhere to them at all times.
Schedule can be discussed, but must fit within the opening hours of 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, and complement the current lead.
