What You’ll Be Doing
As a Branch Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership: Lead the delivery of protective services across a defined client portfolio, ensuring all contractual obligations are met with excellence.
* Financial Accountability: Jointly own the branch P&L with the Protective Services Development Manager, ensuring margin targets are met or exceeded.
* Service Excellence: Drive high-quality service delivery through proactive planning, continuous improvement, and alignment with client SLAs and KPIs.
* Workforce Planning: Ensure effective resourcing, scheduling, and training of officers and employees to meet operational demands.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, attending KPI/SLA meetings to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
* Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse branch KPIs across people, safety, operations, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
* Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of recognition, development, and high engagement, promoting the company’s core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
* Succession Planning: Identify and develop talent within the branch to ensure long-term capability and service continuity.
* Process Improvement: Champion a continuous improvement mindset, using data and business intelligence to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all policies, procedures, and training are adhered to.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Protective Services Development Manager and support departments to ensure seamless service delivery and internal alignment.
* Strategic Contribution: Support the achievement of broader business goals by contributing to strategic planning and execution at the branch level.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
* A confident and empathetic leader with proven people management skills.
* Commercially aware with experience in P&L ownership, forecasting, and budgeting.
* Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
* Skilled in using data and business intelligence to drive performance.
* Flexible and adaptable – willing to work shifts to meet operational needs.
* Right to Work in the UK + 5 year checkable work history.
* Great communicator with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
