Job Overview
Next Generation is recruiting for a Sliding Head Programmer to work with a global leading manufacturer based in Kingswinford. As the Sliding Head Programmer you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Sliding Heads.
Duties Of The Sliding Head Programmer
* Programme, set and operate Citizen L32 Sliding Heads.
* Adjust machine settings and tooling when required.
* Monitor machinery and report problems.
* Maintain good housekeeping standards.
* Follow quality procedures such as ISO9001 & API.
* Ensure one's own safety and that of others.
* Cooperate with employer on OH&S training and guidance.
* Do not interfere or misuse anything provided in the interest of health & safety.
* Ensure PPE is worn when required.
* Report any accident, near miss or ill health immediately to employer.
Qualifications
* 3-5 years experience programming setting and operating sliding heads.
* Experience working with precision machined components (Essential).
* Ability to use handheld measuring equipment (Essential).
* Self‑motivated, possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
