Position: Property Dispute Resolution Lawyer
Location: Yeovil
Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 9:00 am - 5:15 pm, Monday-Friday (Flexibility available)
Salary: From £45,000.00
* Taking instruction and advising clients in all manner of property disputes.
* Drafting statements of case, witness statements, briefs to counsel and various other legal documents
* Advising clients on and conducting matters in Alternative Dispute Resolution
* Networking and business development
* Advocacy (optional)
Types of cases include:
* Residential landlord and tenant including possessions, disrepair, deposit disputes and mortgage possessions.
* Commercial landlord and tenant including dilapidations, forfeiture and lease renewals.
* Service charge disputes
* Boundary, accessibility and land disputes
* Rights of way
* Rights to light
* Adverse possession
* Experience within any of the above areas
* 2 years PQE
* Client-focused and have strong client handling skills
* Be able to instil client confidence
* Good negotiating skills
* Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
* Can-do attitude
* Flexibility and ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
* Show a tenacity and determination to accomplish tasks within deadlines
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
