Job Description:
A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced surveyor to manage the maintenance, compliance, and minor project work needed across this company's Midlands portfolio.
Working remotely (based from home), you'll utilize your skills as a project manager, building surveyor, facilities manager, or similar to visit various sites and assess the condition of the properties as needed.
Building strong relationships with each of the site teams is essential, ensuring you oversee both planned maintenance and reactive issues that cannot be handled on-site. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance across the estate, so experience with compliance and facilities management is important. Additionally, any project work will be organized by you through JCT contracts; this includes writing specifications, tendering to contractors, and ensuring quality of work.
You don't need to be chartered, but experience working autonomously across multiple sites is highly beneficial. Project delivery experience of up to £300k is required, along with some experience in facilities, compliance, and maintenance.
